You can specify any two players that played at least one ranked match in seasons 9-11 and there will be a match chain between them.
Right now, only matches from seasons 9-11 are scanned, so if player you are trying to look up hasn't played in these seasons, they are completely unknown for this website.
Also, not all latest games from season 11 are scanned right now. If player has played their first game ever after 28.07.2026, it may not be scanned yet.
One more thing, only ranked matches are scanned, so private rooms don't count.
If you are sure that player has played at least one ranked game from the start of season 9 until 28.07.2026, please let me know.
Currently, not all players/matches (even in seasons 9-11) are scanned, please try in again in a couple of hours or in a day.
If error does not say that player is unknown - that's very strange, please let me know nicknames of players you are trying to look up.
I was watching "feinberg daily" video and Feinberg asked if anyone has made website like this.
I didn't find any existing website, so in under 30 minutes I made a simple script that 2 days later evolved into this website.
At the moment of writing this - ~80k players and 4 million matches. Note that out of all that matches, only ~2.5 million are unique.
Yes, server has one api endpoint - /distance/:player1/:player2. You can find more details (e.g. api host or response structure) by opening developer tools and looking at network tab.
Please keep in mind that server has per-ip rate-limiting of 1 request per second with allowed burst of 3 requests.
Not yet. I am planning to make repo public by the end of the week (approximately on the first of August 2026)
